nitpicking...but...firstly..I wouldn't really call AJAX a programming language..its just another Acronym assigned to a specific way of using certain features of available technologies...plus i am a little skeptical of whether Google (The search engine) would be running entirely on AJAX.

Its just the UI of the Google that is written in AJAX with HTML. The servers are surely not in AJAX as it cannot perform search so fast using Javascript. AJAX is purely meant for web clients.
